Terms and Conditions

Last updated August 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of Simple Unmark. By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Simple Unmark combines deterministic Unicode cleanup with model-assisted rewriting. Results are provided as an editing aid. We do not guarantee that every watermark or artifact will be removed, that meaning will be perfectly preserved, or that any detector will produce a particular result.

Your content

You retain your rights in content you submit and in the resulting text to the extent permitted by law. You give us a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

You must have the right to submit the content. Do not submit confidential, regulated, illegal, infringing, or highly sensitive personal information unless the deployment is explicitly approved for it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Simple Unmark to facilitate fraud, impersonation, plagiarism, evasion of academic or workplace rules, unlawful surveillance, abuse, or infringement. Do not attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass access and usage controls. Follow disclosure and authorship requirements that apply to your context.

Accounts and free usage

Guest access is limited to three successful cleans in a rolling 30-day period, with up to 100 words and 12,000 characters per clean. Additional browser, device-similarity, concurrency, and shared-network limits protect the service from abuse. Suspicious guest activity may require sign-in. Accounts receive the displayed starter credits and allow up to 5,000 words and 60,000 characters per clean.

Accounts with matching or strongly similar pseudonymous device signals may be flagged for manual review of possible promotional abuse. A match is a risk signal rather than proof that accounts belong to the same person. We may suspend confirmed abuse or change promotional allowances.

Credits, payments, and refunds

Credits are prepaid units for service usage, are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred unless we expressly allow it. Cleaning costs 0.1 credit for each started 100-word block. Prices and consumption rates are displayed before purchase or use and may change prospectively.

Credits are reserved when a clean begins. A successful request commits that reservation; a failed request automatically returns it. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where law requires otherwise, completed credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been consumed. Contact [email protected] for duplicate charges, technical failures, or legally required refund requests.

Availability and liability

The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. To the maximum extent permitted by law, it is provided without implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the preceding 12 months.

Termination and governing terms

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access for violations, risk, or legal requirements. Provisions that should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and payment obligations—remain in effect.

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the service operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your country. Before launch, the operator should replace this general clause with its legal entity, address, and chosen jurisdiction.
